Your web worksheet

Choose Save on this browser to keep a worksheet on the device and browser you are using. Editing it afterwards creates unsaved changes: save again to keep those edits.

If saving is unavailable, your current edits remain on the page. Choose Download plan file, or open Copy or print a text version. Downloads are JSON files; there is no automatic import into the iOS diary.

A saved worksheet can disappear when you clear site data, use private browsing or change browsers. We cannot recover it from a server. Keep a separate download if you want another copy.

Your iOS journal

Plans, sessions and selected journal photos stay on your phone. In Settings, Export journal prepares a readable JSON copy containing notes and journal photos. A session also has its own export action. Anyone with an exported file can read it, so choose its destination carefully.

The journal is excluded from device backups. Export records you want to keep before deleting the app or changing phones. Export is a portable copy, not an automatic restore feature.

Removing records

Deleting a journal photo keeps a written observation note; an empty photo-only observation is removed. Deleting a session removes that session and its journal photos. Delete journal removes all prep plans, sessions, notes and journal photos.

Saved previews from earlier builds have a separate Delete saved previews action. These controls do not remove original images in Photos or copies you have already exported.

Email support@shadediary.com. Tell us whether you are using the web worksheet or an iOS build, what you tried and what happened. Please do not send a journal export or personal photos unless they are needed and you choose to share them.

For an early-access email deletion request, contact us from the address you used to sign up. No account or password is needed to use the worksheet.
